Discussion Forum
Since our class isn't structured around a traditional classroom setting, the discussion board is designed to help re-create a sense of classroom community. In it, you can discuss with other students, ask questions, initiate one-on-one private communication, and just in general get to know your classmates. It can also help you test your audience without having to do too much research...if your classmates disagree with you, it will give you an idea of what you will have to address in your papers. Read Instructions first before entering the forum. Click here to enter Discussion Forum Instructions For privacy and security reasons, you will have to register the first time you enter the Discussion Forum. I have set it up this way so that a) you will be able to edit your own entries even after you have posted them; b) you can exchange private messages with me or other students, if you wish to do so; and c) so I can deny access to the discussion forum to anybody who is not in our course.
If this is your first time using a discussion board (or if you run into unexpected problems trying to post), click here to watch a short tutorial (opens in a new window). Click here to enter Discussion Forum |
