Proposals

A Progress Report is a brief (1/2 to at most 1 page typed) project update, explaining where you are at in your work towards your final paper.

Lesson 3 PR, the progress report for lesson 3 B (Exploratory Research Paper), for instance, would include the following:

Sources you have selected up until this point
A brief explanation of how those sources will help your own argument or illustrate what you are arguing against
Any problems you have run into and how you are planning to get around them

Progress reports are not graded. They are simply intended to keep you on track and let me know where you are in your research/writing.
